Step 1: Completing the Campaign on Co-Op (Insane Difficulty Recommended)
Welcome to the Gears of War Franchise! After two decades, Sony has finally added Gears of War to the PlayStation 5 Library. This game series is not only iconic for its compelling gameplay but also for its challenging and time-consuming trophies, which will be covered in full detail within this guide. To start your trophy hunting journey for this game's platinum trophy, you'll be tackling the Campaign, which has quite a handful of trophies relating to its difficulty, collectables, acts, and co-op. The best way to tackle the most amount of trophies efficiently is by completing the Campaign in co-op with the game's difficulty set to Insane. By completing the game on Insane, all of the other difficulty-related trophies will auto-pop upon completing the Campaign, and you'll earn
I Can't Quit You Dom for completing the Campaign on Co-op. It also makes completing Insane Difficulty far easier than completing it solo. Insane Difficulty is no cake walk; all players have MINIMAL HP and DECREASED DAMAGE. Make sure to aim for headshots to ensure the most amount of damage, and do not peek from cover for long periods, as your health will quickly deplete if exposed for too long. Here's a full list of all the Act-specific trophies that you'll earn by playing through the game's campaign in order of unlock, with the last four trophies being auto-popped if completing the Campaign on Insane Difficulty: testing
ACT I: Ashes

While playing through the Co-op Campaign, you'll be keeping an eye out for COG Tags to work your way towards
For the Fallen. These tags will be scattered throughout each of the Acts you play. You will be able to tell when you are close to a COG Tag, as there will be a red Gears of War logo sprayed on debris, walls, and entryways, letting you know there's a collectible nearby. For any easy-to-follow guide to find the COG Tags in each Act, it's recommended to watch Gears of War: Reloaded - All 33 COG Tag Locations, a video made by Trophy Tom that showcases every single Tag location in the Campaign. Besides everything listed above, make sure to enjoy the Gears of War atmosphere in the Campaign and have fun making your way through the story about the Coalition of Ordered Governments (C.O.Gs) fighting against the army of Locust, chainsawing anyone that stands in your way
Step 2: Versus Mode (The Multiplayer Grind)
NOTE: As of September 17th, 2025, the Gears of War: Reloaded Development Team had patched an issue that addresses the squad achievement progression, which prevented players from earning trophy progression if they were not the host of the party. All of the multiplayer trophies are now bug-free for the time being and can be unlocked in a party with other players in your session.
Welcome to the Versus Mode! After completing all the Campaign-specific trophies, it's now time to break down all of the multiplayer-mode trophies, including the infamous
Seriously... trophy, which is also the reason why the guide is labeled as 130 hours to Platinum. However, the grind could be significantly cut short, which will be explained under that trophy's descriptions. There is a lot of depth to the multiplayer trophies, some of which are straightforward, and others are fairly tedious. The MOST IMPORTANT trophies to keep track of include:
Mix It Up,
Around the World, and
Handyman. The Maps, Modes, and Weapons needed for each of these trophies will be listed under their trophy description. The region that you're in plays a HEAVY factor in matching with other players. You are unable to change your region in the game, meaning it will be very unlikely that a player in "Europe - West" could match with a player in "US - East".
Versus Mode (Multiplayer Grind) - Trophies

Step 3: Miscellaneous Clean Up
After playing through the Campaign and completing the Multiplayer Trophies, all that remains in your journey are a few random miscellaneous trophies, some of which aren't tied to any specific mode and could be unlocked while playing either mode of your choice. While playing through the Campaign or Versus Mode, these will likely unlock naturally as you progress throughout the game.
Micellanious Clean Up - Trophies
Zen and the Art of Reloading
Zen and the Art Part 2
Clusterluck
G-reader
Whack-A-Grub
If these have not yet been unlocked, the methods for unlocking each of these miscellaneous trophies can be completed with ease. The best means to unlock these trophies without the stress of enemy players attacking is by selecting the specific stages in the Campaign. Once these last few trophies are completed, you'll have unlocked yourself

Controller/Game Settings
Gears of War offers a variety of Game Settings that you can customize and adjust to your liking, including Reticle Lock Color and Damage Indicators. However, one of the most useful game settings that will make watching the screen far easier for you is by setting the Camera Shake to OFF. This setting alone will make running in the game feel less dizzying, and you will be able to clearly look around your surroundings without the screen rapidly shaking. Additionally, the speed at which you can react plays a significant role in whether you win or lose a gun fight. The best means to increase the speed of your controls is by slowly increasing your Look, Target, and Zoom Sensitivity until you can comfortably maneuver with high sensitivity controls. Although it might be difficult to adjust to at first, it will drastically increase your ability to combat other players. You could also turn off Vibration if you feel that the Vibration is causing your problems when trying to aim your shots.

Want to become a Pro at Gears of War? Here's How
If you want to learn how to Get Gud at this game, then this is your first step to improve your gameplay and increase your chances of being at the top of the match leaderboard. Since Gears of War has been around for two whole decades, there are a lot of movement tactics that will play a significant factor in winning encounters. This section of the guide will highlight some of the most popular methods used by professional Gears of War Players and allows you to move with ease throughout the game, making you not only a hard-to-hit target, but also consistently land every shot.
Become a Master of Movement:
Wall Bouncing: Wall Bouncing is perhaps the most essential first step to becoming good at this game. Movement is everything, and Wall Bouncing is one of those key components. To perform a Wall Bounce, press ( X ) to push into cover, and right before you make contact with the barrier, push ( Left Stick ) in the opposite direction from the wall, and press ( X ) to push to a different wall. If done fast enough, you will have successfully performed a Wall Bounce. With enough practice, you make your character extremely hard to hit. - Timestamp to see successful Wall Bounce | [1:03 - 1:13]
Back ( X ): While Wall Bouncing is more meant to evade and quickly dodge enemy fire, Back ( X ) will be your offensive and defensive attack while remaining close to cover. To perform a Back ( X ), you will need to stay in cover, then, in quick succession, press ( L2 ), then ( R2 ) and ( Left Stick Downwards ). If done correctly, you will be able to get a full body shot at an approaching enemy, while not sacrificing pivotal covering points. This can be done on corner covers as well as barricades. - Timestamp to see successful Back ( X ) | [2:18 - 2:57]
Up ( X ): Up ( X ) is very similar to Back ( X ), with the main difference being that this method is primarily offensive, as you'll be charging towards the enemy player with this move. To perform an Up ( X ), work your way to cover, and right as you hit the cover, quickly hit ( Left Stick Upwards ) and use ( L2 ) to aim and ( R2 ) to fire. This is a more aggressive playstyle, so not everyone may resort to using this method while playing - Timestamp to see successful Up ( X ) | [3:27 - 4:02]
Wrap Shot: The Wrap Shot is a bit harder to perform, as you may need either paddles or a claw controller to assist in consistently pulling off this move. The Wrap shot can only be performed around low barricaded cover, so the move itself is pretty circumstantial, depending on which map you play on and where you spawn. To perform a Wrap Shot, you will need to be in cover around a low barricade, specifically towards the very edge of the cover. Quickly after taking cover, walk around the corner while pressing ( L2 ) and then ( R2 ) to shoot the enemy on the other side of the cover. - Timestamp to see successful Wrap Shot | [4:36 - 5:09]
Reaction Shot: A Reaction Shot is also pretty circumstantial since it heavily relies on being next to a corner of a low barricade to consistently use this move without fail. It's fairly similar to the Wrap Shot, with the only difference being the direction you face towards the end. To perform a Reaction Shot, head to the edge of a low barricade and right as the animation that slams you against the cover starts, quickly turn your camera around using ( Left Stick ) and right as the animation is about to finish, use ( L2 ), then ( R2 ) in quick succession to hit the shot. - Timestamp to see successful Reaction Shot | [5:40 - 6:10]
Cover Swap Cancel: A Cover Swap Cancel can be accomplished if there is an area where you can switch from different covers by pressing ( X ). You'll know if you can Cover Swap if you see an icon towards the bottom of the screen, while positioned at a Cover. To perform a Cover Swap Cancel, you must be behind cover, then press ( X ) to swap, then immediately afterwards hold ( X ) to run, which will cancel your cover swap, and then press ( R2 ) to shoot immediately after cancelling the swap. - Timestamp to see successful Cover Swap Cancel | [6:24 - 6:57] - Below is the icon you'll see if you can Cover Swap:

Mastering the Gnasher Shotgun
Gears of War: Reloaded has a wide variety of weapons that can be found around the map; however, there is no guarantee that you'll be quick enough to grab the weapon in time. Additionally, if you die holding a map-specific weapon, you will drop the weapon on the ground and lose it on respawn. The best weapon to combat against any player on any map is the weapon you spawn with, the Gnasher Shotgun.
The Gnasher Shotgun is easily the best weapon in this game and will be how you win most of your gunfights. Another good option of weaponry is Frag Grenades, which have specific spawn locations (See
Handyman for reference), so if you stumble across them, they are good to force enemies out from hiding.
The best explanation regarding how to maximize the efficiency of the Gnasher can be seen in the video below, which goes over the damage range, best settings, and some bonus movement techniques to make your gunplay smoother:

Bonus Tips
Tip #1: Keep an eye on when the Spawns Swap, as for some small maps, it's very predictable to know where the enemy team will spawn. Tip #2: For an immediate power buff, focusing on the map-specific Power Weapons, such as the Boomshot, can give you a massive advantage over other players. To determine where they spawn, hold ( L1 ) when you spawn in to see where each weapon is located on the map. Tip #3: Learn to become more efficient at achieving Perfect Active Reloads, as it will give you a crucial damage boost for that magazine once reloaded (See Zen and the Art of Reloading for more context).

Nothin' Left
After all 56 trophies are completed, you'll have unlocked the final trophy,
Nothin' Left! Thank you for using this guide as your go-to reference for Gears of War: Reloaded. And Congratulations on your new, shiny Platinum Trophy!
Special Thanks to: Emperor Robrainic for the custom Marcus image holding the Platinum Trophy
Welcome to Delta Squad
Story
(Act 1) Escape from the Slab This trophy will unlock in Act 1: Ashes - Chapter: 14 Years After E-Day. Shortly after escaping the prison, Marcus and Dominic will enter the Yard, where they fight another wave of Locust. Meanwhile, the helicopter is attempting to find a place to land, which Marcus and Dominic will create as they kill more Locust. Once the area is clear, Dominic will say, "Marcus, we've gotta move to the Raven, now!" shortly popping the trophy afterwards. If the trophy does not pop yet, simply make your way to the King Raven helicopter, where a cutscene will play, which could also pop the trophy.
Cole? As in the Cole Train?
Story
(Act 1) Rescue Augustus Cole from the House of Sovereigns This trophy will unlock in Act 1: Ashes - Chapter: Hammer. At the beginning of this Chapter, Marcus and Dominic will comment about Augustus Cole a.k.a The Cole Train, baby!, chanting to himself while fighting the Locust. As you make your way through the building, you will spot Cole from the second floor fighting some Locusts. Provide Cole with some cover fire by killing a couple of Locusts, and Cole will enter DBNO (Down But Not Out) and must be revived. Head down the stairs and revive Cole, where a cutscene will play shortly afterwards, and the trophy will pop afterwards as the cutscene ends.
Yeah, Yeah, Group Hug
Story
(Act1) Rescue Damon Baird from the Tomb of the Unknown This trophy will unlock in Act 1: Ashes - Chapter: Wrath. About halfway through the Chapter, Marcus and Dominic will make their way to the top balcony of the building, where a Locust is firing a Troika Gun, aiming directly at Alpha Squad. After killing the Locust, the player will man the Troika Gun and secure the landing zone for evacuation by killing any remaining Locust pushing towards the building. There will be Nemacysts that will slowly fly towards the player, so take them out quickly, or they will do plenty of damage. Eventually, after enough enemies have been killed, a cutscene will play, and the trophy will pop.
My Love for You Is Like a Truck
Story
(Act 1) Kill the Berserker in the Tomb of the Unknown This trophy will unlock in Act 1: Ashes - Chapter: China Shop. In this Chapter, you will be up against the Berserker. As you proceed through the Chapter, Marcus and Dominic must lure the Berserker outside by standing in front of doorways, where the enemy will do a charge attack. The player must dodge to the side just before being hit by the attack, and the next area will be unlocked. Simply repeat this a set number of times until the Berserker is finally outside of the Tomb. Once the Berserker reaches the Outside, use the Hammer of Dawn to penetrate his tough armor, which may take several rounds depending on the difficulty. After enough rounds, the Berserker will die, and the trophy will pop.
No More Favors
Story
(Act 2) Make a deal with Franklin This trophy will unlock in Act 2: Ashes - Chapter: Grist. In this Chapter, Marcus and Dominic must find a means of transportation, and Dominic mentions that he has a plan to secure a vehicle. The team will make its way through the city to find a Stranded's settlement, where they intend to meet with Franklin, the leader of the local Stranded who owns a Junker and also owes Dominic a favor. Once the team reaches the camp, they will slowly walk through the camp, taking everything in, where a cutscene will play introducing Franklin, and the trophy will pop after the cutscene ends.
Lights, Action!
Story
(Act 2) Use the spotlight as protection from the Kryll This trophy will unlock in Act 2: Ashes - Chapter: Lethal Dusk. As you play throughout this Chapter, the Kryll will be introduced, which are small flying creatures that attack in hordes, specifically attacking anything that is in the shadows. The Kryll's weakness is Light, and the player will have to use the environment, like Gas Cans or Propane tanks lying around. Eventually, there will be an area with a spotlight located on the second floor of a nearby building. The player must use the spotlight and aim it at their teammate to guide their team across the road safely to prevent the Kryll from attacking. Besides the spotlight, there is no other available light source to progress in this section. Once the player is across, there will be a power switch that can be interacted with, causing all the lights in the area and the trophy to pop shortly afterwards.
Taking Laverne for a Ride
Story
(Act 2) Get the Junker at Chap’s gas station This trophy will unlock at the very start of Act 2: Ashes - Chapter: Burnt Rubber. In this Chapter, Marcus and Dominic arrive at Chap's Gas Station, where the Junker vehicle Franklin mentioned would be found. A man named Chaps will inform you that he did not fill the Junker with any gas, assuming they would not make it past the waves of Kryll and Locust. Marcus and Dominic must fill the vehicle with gas while hordes of Locust charge the Gas Station. Eventually, there is a pause in the locust's attack, where the Squad informs Control they've finally obtained the vehicle. Shortly after their interaction, a cutscene will play of them escaping the Gas Station, unintentionally lighting it on fire, and the trophy will pop at the beginning of the next Chapter.
The Biggest E-hole
Story
(Act 2) Defend Stranded Settlement and head for the Lethia Imulsion Factory This trophy will unlock after completing Act 2: Ashes - Chapter: Last Stand. In this Chapter, as the Chapter name suggests, your team will have one 'Last Stand' against the Locust who are targeting the Stranded Settlement. This is among the shortest of all the Chapters, as the section is simply a short three-minute defense mission. Once you repel the Locust attack, the Act will end with a cutscene of them traversing on the destroyed road, and the trophy will pop afterwards.
Smell Good Too…
Story
(Act 3) Reunite with Baird and Cole inside the Imulsion Factory This trophy will unlock in Act 3: Belly of the Beast - Chapter: Evolution. In this Chapter, Marcus and Dominic will be separated from Baird and Cole as they make their way inside the Imulsion Factory. As you progress through the factory, you'll encounter several Locust and a new enemy type, the Lambent Wretches. Unlike the normal Wretches, these enemies will explode after they are killed, which will nearly one-shot the player if playing on Insane Difficulty. Eventually, once you push far enough into the factory, you'll meet back up with Baird and Cole, with the trophy popping during their dialogue.
Go Time, Show Time
Story
(Act 3) Descend with Delta into the mines This trophy will unlock at the very end of Act 3: Belly of the Beast - Chapter: Coaolition Cargo. This Chapter has two sections, the first being a minecart traverse section and the second being focused on pushing to the Core Room. In the minecart section, both players will be separated and ride individual minecarts, where they will shoot any incoming Locust. Thankfully, the minecart provides the player with a lot of cover. The second section occurs immediately after the minecart ride has ended. The Player will make their way to the Core Room, where they will encounter the Locust and the Lambent Wretches as they progress further. However, towards the end, there will be two Boomers (one on each drilling platform) that will shoot at the Player. After killing both Boomers and stepping on top of the drilling platform, a cutscene will play, and the trophy will pop shortly afterwards.
Broken Fingers
Story
(Act 3) Kill the Corpser This trophy will unlock in Act 3: Belly of the Beast - Chapter: Angry Titan. This Chapter immediately begins with Marcus and Dominic attempting to regroup with Baird and Cole to reach the Pumping Station, when they will be attacked by the creature causing the ruptures from earlier. The Corpser is a massive spider-like creature that will use its legs to crush the player. They only have one weak spot, which is directly underneath their stomach, right below their belt; any other location will have the bullets reflect off of it.
Your weapons are not strong enough to kill this creature, so your main goal through this boss fight is to push them slowly back until they are standing on a giant metallic platform. Once they are on the Platform, multiple Wretches will spawn in. Your goal now is to stand on top of these hinges, wait for them to use their Leg Attack, and dodge out of the way at the last second. This will destroy the hinges, and once both are destroyed, the platform will fall into the Imulsion, taking the out the Corpser in the process, popping the trophy as the cutscene plays.

Lethal Acoustics
Story
(Act 3) Deploy the Sonic Resonator This trophy will unlock at the end of Act 3: Belly of the Beast - Chapter: Tip of the Iceberg. In this Chapter, the team will approach the Pumping Station where they'll have to place the Sonic Resonator. A horde of Locust will begin to shoot at the player, along with heavy HP enemies with the Torque Bow that can one-shot the player if not careful. Once the Pumping Station has been secured, you'll head to the Elevator and turn on the power. Immediately after interacting with the power button, a long cutscene will play, and the trophy will pop.
Raven Down
Story
(Act 4) Find the downed chopper with Delta squad This trophy will unlock at the end of Act 4: The Long Road Home - Chapter: Campus Grinder. At the start of the Act, you are making the long journey to reach Marcus Fenix's house. Due to heavy enemy forces attacking the choppers, one of the choppers crashes into the ground. Now, Marcus and Dominic will work their way to secure the Contemporary Combat Center and attempt to link up with the other chopper. Simply make your way through the mission and kill any Locust. Remember to use the Hammer of Dawn to fight back against any Seeders you encounter. Once you reach a broken pick-up truck next to some propane tanks, shoot the tanks to break the gate and walk through to pop the trophy.
Fry Up With a Side of Greens
Story
(Act 4) Kill the Berserker in the Conservatory This trophy will unlock in Act 4: The Long Road Home - Chapter: Bad to Worse. In this Chapter, the crew will be attempting to meet up in the Conservatory to be picked up by themselves, along with the wounded from the chopper crash. However, as they progress through the mission and find the Converatory, there will be a Berserker waiting and begin to charge towards the player. Similar to
My Love For You Is Like a Truck, you will have to evade the Berserker and aim him in the outside section of the Conservatory (You'll know if you are there when a timer appears at the top middle of the screen). For this fight, the Hammer of Dawn is a requirement, as no other weapon will do any damage.
Know Place Like Home
Story
(Act 4) Discover Adam’s secret lab This trophy will unlock around the start of Act 4: The Long Road Home - Chapter: Entrenched. In this Chapter, Marcus and Dominic will finally reach The Fenix Residence, which will be heavily guarded by Locust that you'll have to fight through. Once the player climbs up the entire staircase, a cutscene will play where Baird and Cole will meet up with Marcus and Dominic. As you enter the house, Holes will randomly spawn around the house with multiple Locusts erupting from them, which will need your attention and must be plugged with a Frag Grenades. After clearing the first and second floors of the house, you'll work your way further down into the house to find the basement, where the hidden lab is located. Once the Lab has been found, it must be opened with the JACK robot that follows the player, which will be a defense mission to protect him from the waves of Locusts that will attack. Once JACK successfully opens the Lab door, a cutscene will play, uncovering all of the Locust Tunnels. Shortly after the cutscene ends, the trophy will pop.
YEEEEHAAAAA!
Story
(Act 4) Escape from the Brumak This trophy will unlock after completing Act 4: The Long Road Home - Chapter: Entrenched. Right after gathering the intel from the Hidden Lab in the Fenix Residence. Marcus and Dominic will work their way back to the ground floor of the house, where they'll meet back up with Baird and Cole. In this section, the player will defend the house from being pushed in by the Locust horde from the front of the house. Baird will tell Marcus that more Locust are approaching from the back of the house, which you'll have to relocate to reach. Once they reach the back of the house, a timer will appear at the top middle of the screen, which is the amount of time you'll have to escape to the APC. There will be a few enemies blocking your path, so once you kill them and push far enough to reach the APC, a cutscene will play and pop the trophy at the starting cutscene of the next Act.
Power Up
Story
(Act 5) Restore power to the bridge This trophy will unlock after the Brumak traps the player inside the building in Act 5: Desperation - Chapter: Comedy of Errors. In this Chapter, the crew will have to reach the power lines to catch the train later in the Act; however, a Brumak is heading towards the direction of the power lines. Cole attracts the attention of the Brumak and guides it away so Marcus and Dominic can make their way to the lines, which will lead them towards the theater. The JACK robot will need to be protected to open the door, while Locust will approach your location. After some time passes, the Brumak will appear in front of the road and begin slowly making its way to the player. The Brumak will launch a white van towards the barriers, which will cause rubble to fall, encasing every window. Simultaneously, JACK will complete breaching the door, and the trophy will pop.
Marcus? Is That You?
Story
(Act 5) Restore communications with Control This trophy will unlock in Act 5: Desperation - Chapter: Window Shopping. In this Chapter, Marcus and Dominic are attempting to locate the Seeder, which involves them working through a large parking garage. Around the halfway mark, there will be a Troika Gun positioned facing below the street that you'll have to use to kill any Locust and the Seeder hiding between the cracks in the street. Once all of the enemies have been killed, Marcus will attempt to communicate with Control and successfully confirm that the Communications are back online, popping the trophy shortly after their dialogue ends.
Shock Therapy
Story
(Act 5) Kill the Brumak This trophy will unlock in Act 5: Desperation - Chapter: Jurassic Proportions. This is a relatively short Chapter, as it only consists of the Boss Fight with the Brumak. The Strategy for this fight is very straightforward: Destroy the Brumak's arm guns and kill the Brumak Driver. Make sure to consistently hide behind cover when attempting to destroy the arm guns, as you will shred through your HP if not careful. Once the arm guns are destroyed, shoot at the Brumak's legs to force it to hunch over and expose the driver. After enough shots, the cutscene will play where you lead the Brumak to a power station and electrocute it to death, and the trophy will pop at the end of the cutscene.
All Aboard! Uh… We're Aboard!
Story
(Act 5) Board the Imulsion bound train with the Lightmass Bomb This trophy will unlock at the end of Act 5: Desperation - Chapter: Train Wreck. In this Chapter, the APC will drop you off at the Timgad Train Station, where you'll have to fight through a couple of Locust that will prevent you from approaching the station. Simply kill any of the remaining Locust who are on the catwalk and inside one of the box trains to push further into the train station. Eventually, once you are far enough into the Train Station, a cutscene will play where Marcus and Dominic will jump onto the train, and the trophy will pop at the start of the following Chapter.
A Dish Best Served Cold
Story
(Act 5) Defeat General RAAM This trophy will unlock in Act 5: Desperation - Chapter: Pale Horse. In this final Chapter, Marcus and Dominic will be confronted by General RAAM, who is at the very front of the train with a barrier of Kryll surrounding them to prevent any attacks. This is a fairly difficult Boss Fight if attempting this on Insane Difficulty. For the best method to breeze through this Boss Fight, it's highly recommended to read the

Commando
Difficulty Related
Complete all acts on Insane Difficulty As mentioned in the Roadmap, Insane Difficulty is not easy. The Player's health and the weapon damage are drastically decreased, meaning it will take much longer to kill your basic Locust. It is highly recommended to complete this trophy on Co-op mode to help cover more overall damage, and if you are downed, your co-op partner can revive you instead of immediately being brought back to the last checkpoint. There is at least one 'split-up' section every Act, where both players will be separated from each other and must complete each of their paths to progress to the next story section. If you go down in this section of the game, it will immediately fail the mission since your co-op partner is unable to revive you. The overall strategy is to be cautious of your surroundings, always aim for headshots (some boss fights being exceptions), and do not peek over cover for long, as you will take a ton of damage. The Gnasher Shotgun and Lancer Rifle are your best friends throughout the game. The Lancer will tackle the majority of medium to long-range fights, while the Gnasher Shotgun is perfect for short-range enemies like the Wretches, who move fast but have little HP, with one Gnasher Shotgun shot killing them instantly. For further recommendations and strategies, please refer to *General Information*. By completing the game on Insane Difficulty, you will autopop
Mercenary,
Classic Mercenary, and
Soldier immediately after defeating General RAAM.

Recover all 33 COG tags (on any difficulty)
NOTE: If playing in Co-Op mode, one of the players may not be able to interact with the COG Tags. The other player in the session will be able to pick up, and it will count for both players. As long as one of the players in the Co-Op Session can interact with the COG Tags, then both players will still gain trophy progression towards the collectibles.
In Gears of War: Reloaded, the collectables that are tied to the campaign are called COG Tags. These COG Tags are scattered throughout all of the Acts in the Campaign, and you will likely accidentally stumble across one of these tags as you progress through the Campaign. You will know when you are close to finding a COG Tag when you spot a red spray-painted Gears of War logo found on a random wall, debris, or entryway. The COG Tags themselves emit a light blue color and can be mainly spotted on the floor near a hidden area or behind some furniture.

The best step-by-step guide to locate each of the COG Tags can be seen in the video below by Trophy Tom, who displays the locations of each tag on every Act of every Chapter, including timestamps to find the specific COG Tags you may be missing from the previous Chapters:

Zen and the Art of Reloading
Perform 25 perfect active reloads (on any difficulty)
NOTE: This Trophy can be unlocked in any mode or game type, including both Versus Mode (Multiplayer) and Campaign.
An Active Reload is the reload animation the character does when having to refill their magazine, except there's a bar that acts essentially like its own minigame, where it rewards the player based on their reaction speed. Depending on how accurate your response time is, it could either reward you greatly or punish you for a lack of reaction time. For this trophy, the player must successfully hit 25 Perfect Active Reloads;
Zen and the Art Part 2 also follows a similar trophy description with achieving specific active reload animations, and can similarly be accomplished in any mode of the player's choice. There are three different kinds of Active Reload that the player could perform:
Every Type of Active Reload
(Active Reload Bar)
Quick Reload: A Quick Reload can be performed when the player hits the white line inside the gray region, causing the gun to be reloaded faster. While it does not provide any significant boosts for the player, it'll make the normal time to reload a bit quicker as opposed to waiting for the full reload animation. This is the most common kind of Active Reload that you'll end up landing on as you progress throughout the game.
Perfect Reload: A Perfect Reload can be performed when the player perfectly hits the white line inside the white region. This is the type of Active Reload you always want to aim for, as its benefits are massive for sections with multiple enemies or enemies with large HP thresholds. The effects are relatively similar to a Quick Reload, but it comes with an added Damage Bonus, causing that magazine to have increased damage. You will know if you successfully hit the Perfect Reload if you see your ammo flashing.
( Perfect Active Reload)
Credit for Image: GameRant
( Failed Active Reload)
Failed Reload: A Failed Reload is performed when the player fails to hit the line up with either the gray or the white region, making the Reload Bar flash a dark red. This type of reload you want to avoid at all costs, as it will jam the weapon you're holding and will be stuck in that reload animation. Even if you temporarily switch to a different weapon, when you eventually go back to the previous weapon, it will remain jammed until the entirety of the animation is completed.
Zen and the Art Part 2
Perform 5 perfect active reloads in a row (on any difficulty)
NOTE: This Trophy can be unlocked in any mode or game type, including both Versus Mode (Multiplayer) and Campaign.
As described in the
Zen and the Art of Reloading, to get a Perfect Active Reload, you will have to successfully hit the white line inside the white region of the Reload Bar 5 Times in a Row. While this can be obtained in any mode, some players may find it challenging to accomplish this in the Versus Mode, as your heart rate from fighting other players may inhibit your ability to get 5 consecutive Perfect Active Reloads without fail. For a more guaranteed method without other players interfering, head to the Campaign, Select Act 1: Ashes, and Chapter: 14 Years After E-Day. Afterwards, skip the cutscene, and you'll be able to practice the timing of the 5 Perfect Active Reloads in a row without interruption from other players or Locust. If you run out of ammo before obtaining the trophy, relaunch the mission and keep retrying until the trophy pops.
Clusterluck
Kill 3 enemies at once 10 different times (on any difficulty)
NOTE: This Trophy can be unlocked in any mode or game type, including both Versus Mode (Multiplayer) and Campaign.
This trophy requires the player to eliminate three enemies at once on 10 different occasions. The best weapon to consistently get three kills each time would be using the Frag Grenade, which can be found on numerous maps showcased under the
Handyman trophy description. To easily boost this trophy, find a session with other players who are also trophy hunters and party up until you can match with the other party in the public lobby. Once you are on one of the maps that has the Frag Grenade, gather three or four enemy players to group up and throw the grenade to be directly between all of them. If done correctly, all the players should immediately die, and you will repeat this process nine additional times to get the trophy to pop. The modes King of the Hill or Blitz are the best selection to choose from, as the scoring is tied to capturing objectives, meaning you can attempt this trophy as many times as you would like. If you're unable to find an active session or have a lack of players, there is another method that works just as great in the Campaign mode. Select Act 1: Ashes, and Chapter: Trial by Fire, select Casual Difficulty. Once you make your way up the stairs, a cutscene will play where a small horde of Locust will spawn. After the cutscene ends, make your way to the rear section of the area, where an E-Hole will spawn, and you'll want to aim and throw your grenade at that hole. You'll know if you made progress towards the trophy if you see a challenge progression bar appear towards the bottom right of your screen. Once done successfully, simply keep reloading the checkpoint and keep farming that same E-Hole spot with Frag Grenades until the trophy pops. For an easy-to-follow reference, please use the video below as a guide to visually see both the location and the trajectory needed to get three kills each time:

Co-op
Complete all acts in co-op (on any difficulty) It is highly recommended that when working towards
Commando, you also aim towards this trophy, making the Insane Difficulty much less daunting. The benefits of co-op are that when either of you enters DBNO state (Down But Not Out), your teammate can revive you multiple times, allowing for mistakes to be more forgiving compared to playing solo. However, the only downside to playing Co-Op is that each Act has at least a minimum of one 'Split-up' Section, where both players take separate routes. If one of the players goes down before the players can match together again, the mission will auto-fail and will reload to the beginning of the 'Split-up' Section.
Don't You Die On Me
Internet Required
Revive 100 teammates in Versus multiplayer (social or competitive) This trophy is pretty circumstantial, as most players, when in a DBNO state (Down But Not Out), are almost immediately killed by an Enemy once downed when playing in a Public Lobby. However, if you stick with teammates and keep a watchful eye while they're traversing the map, you may be able to revive them in time before they get finished by the enemy. Each person can be in a DBNO state twice per life, and they'll be able to regain the ability to go down once they respawn. It's important to note that, similar to the majority of Versus Mode Trophies, this trophy can also be done in tandem with the
Seriously... trophy.
Always Remember Your First

Finish playing a Versus match (social or competitive) This trophy is among the very first trophies you will earn from playing the Versus Mode. The only requirement is to play a match in the Versus Mode and complete the match. Once the match ends, the trophy will pop. The only way the trophy does not pop is if the game crashes before the match ends, or you leave the game before the match ends. Even if you win or lose, as long as you stay connected until the entire match is completed, the trophy will pop.

Mix It Up
Internet Required
Win a match in every Versus game type (social or competitive) The game types within the Versus Mode contain iterations of already existing game types. The Blitz mode is just King of the Hill, with the main difference being how the capture system works. Blitz only captures the objective if you are continually standing on top of the point, while King of the Hill allows you to keep scoring points even when not remaining on the objective. Technically, you only need 5 Versus Game Type Wins for the trophy to pop.

Win a match in every Versus map (social or competitive) This trophy is pretty time-consuming since luck plays a significant factor in getting the exact map that you need. The map is determined through a voting system, where a map will get selected, and players have the option to skip the map and replace it with a different map. While playing each map, it's important to know that some maps will not show up under specific modes, so it's recommended to play Team Deathmatch, which will guarantee that every map is accessible, besides the map Boxes, due to it being tied to a different mode. Additionally, by selecting Team Deathmatch, you can also work towards progress in
Better Late Than Never. If you are attempting to do this naturally, without any additional players to help, it will be difficult to both guarantee the right map you'll need and guarantee a win. For specific strategies that could help increase your skill to improve your chances of winning, please refer to Tips and Strategies for a more in-depth explanation. If you are boosting with other players who similarly need other multiplayer trophies, you can increase your chances of getting specific maps in rotation and allowing for easy wins. Spot 100 enemies resulting in assisted kills in Versus (social or competitive) This trophy requires you to spot another player by using ( L2 ) to aim down sights and pressing ( Left Stick ) to mark them 100 Times. All players on your team will be able to spot the tagged enemy player. However, the tag will disappear after a couple of seconds. Shortly tagging the enemy, another teammate must kill the tagged enemy for it to count as an Assist Kill. You can get this over time from playing the Versus Mode, by sticking behind a teammate and tagging any enemy that approaches your direction. You're able to shoot the tagged enemy yourself, but it's recommended not to, as you may end up accidentally downing them from too much damage. Make sure to stick close to your teammates and act as a Spy Plane, tagging as many enemies as you can. The other means includes using one of the available boosting methods presented in the
Seriously... trophy description, specifically 2v2 Gnasher Execution, which is a much smaller map and easier to boost due to the minimum required player count being 4.
Can't Touch Me

Win 10 Versus matches without losing a round (social or competitive) Most of the multiplayer trophies are fairly skill-dependent, which can be explained via the General Information, and depend on the enemy player levels. The quickest way to complete these Versus matches is by playing 2v2 Gnasher Execution or Blitz, as they are the shortest timed modes. Specific boosting methods can be used to make this trophy a breeze to obtain, which can be explained further in the

Kill 10,000 people in Versus matches Welcome to where your commitment to this platinum trophy is put to the test! Depending on the region you're playing from, you may be unable to join with certain players or trophy hunters if their region is too far from yours. This trophy is the main reason why the guide is currently listed as 130 hours, but it could be drastically reduced with one of the methods provided below. Additionally, some of these methods will be used alongside some of the Versus Mode trophies that you'll be aiming for while progressing through the game. There are three methods available to obtain this trophy:
Method 1: The 'Get Gud' Approach
This method is pretty straightforward. No boosting sessions or assistance from other players, just playing solo queuing into lobbies, slowly working your way over time towards the 10,000 kills. While yes, it is a 'legitimate' means to obtain the trophy, however, the number of kills per game drastically varies, and the time investment is very similar to Fortnite's trophy grind, easily ranging towards hundreds upon hundreds of hours to get slightly closer to this one trophy. If you want to have a personal flex for doing this trophy legitimately, that is your own preference, just beware of the heavy grind that follows. If you're looking to improve your gameplay and increase your in-game performance, it's highly recommended to refer to the General Information section for an in-depth analysis.
<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Method 2: The 2v2 Gnasher Grind (Duo)
This method is one of the available boosting methods to make the trophy progression go much faster than Method 1. To use this method, you'll need the following:
2 Players
2 Controllers per Player
2 Accounts per Player
Step 1: Have both players log into their Main Account and Open Gears of War: Reloaded. Step 2: Once in the game, both players will log in to their ALT accounts using their second controller and have the ALT account join your lobby.
(Make sure in your PlayStation settings, under "Users and Accounts", in "Other", select "Console Sharing and Offline Play" and make sure it's enabled) (You will know if it's not enabled if you're presented with a message asking you to buy PlayStation Plus).
Step 3: Both Players must have Crossplay turned off. This can be done by going into "Settings" in the "Main Menu", scrolling down to "Account", and set the "Crossplay" to OFF (Setting it to Console Only will pair you with both PlayStation and Xbox Players). This allows for the search radius for players to be minimized. Step 4: Once ready, both players will select "Social Match" and search for "2v2 Gnasher Execution" simultaneously (If you are unable to find the other player, simply back out of the lobby and search again until you match with each other). Step 5: After matching with each other, each player will take turns killing the entire team.
Player 1 will walk over to Player 2's spawn to kill Player 2 and their ALT account. Next round, Player 2 will walk over to Player 1's spawn to kill Player 1 and their ALT account. At most, you can play a total of 13 rounds before the game ends.
Step 6: Keep repeating Step 5 to your heart's content, as the lobby will not disband, so you are free to keep running back as many matches as you'd like. While this method provides a consistent method for getting kills over time, it will take several hours. With Player 1 and Player 2 taking turns, each match will take about 8 minutes and both players should have around 13-14 Kills; meaning the total playtime needed to get this trophy while exchanging kills is 95.2 HOURS, which leads into the alternate version of this method.
<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Method 2.1: The 2v2 Gnasher Grind (Solo)
Unlike the (Duo) Method, this iteration can be done entirely solo and cuts the playtime in half. To use this method, you'll need the following:
1 Player
2 PS5 Consoles
4 Controllers
A Digital Copy of Gears of War: Reloaded
The video shown below will showcase how you'll be able to log in to your accounts for your gaming session and start grinding towards the trophy step by step. Make sure that you enable Console Sharing so that all accounts logged in are able to play the game; otherwise, it will keep asking you to buy a PS Plus subscription.
Credit: rHOOKr
Using this method will make the grind for this trophy 47.6 Hours, which is still quite a lot for playing the same gameplay loop, so make sure to give both of your consoles a break every so often to not burn them out. It's a marathon, not a sprint, however... There is one final method, which is easily the fastest among all of them and the most sweaty.
<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Method 3: The Supreme Hammer of Dawn
This method is the fastest method to obtain this trophy, as well as the most expensive. To use this last method, here's what you'll need to pull this off:
2 Players
2 PS5 Consoles per Player
4 Controllers per Player
4 Accounts per Player
A Digital Copy of Gears of War: Reloaded
Step 1: Both Players will log into their Main account on their first PS5, enable "Console Sharing", and launch the game. Step 2: Once in the game, use the other controller to log in to one of your Alt Accounts to join your party, select "Versus", then select "Social Match". Step 3: Both Players will turn on their second PS5, log in to their main account to enable "Console Sharing" in their settings, switch users to another Alt Account, and launch the game.
(This will not disband your already existing lobby on first PS5) (To find "Console Settings", head to the PS5's settings, under "Users and Accounts", in "Other", select "Console Sharing and Offline Play" and make sure it's enabled).
Step 4: Once in the game on the second PS5, log into the last alternate account using another controller to join the party. Step 5: Go to the first PS5 and invite the Party Leader of the second PS5 players to your Main Account's party.
(If done correctly, you should now have your main account as the party leader, with three of your alt accounts also in your party).
Step 6: Both Players must have Crossplay turned off. This can be done by going into "Settings" in the "Main Menu", scrolling down to "Account", and set the "Crossplay" to OFF (Setting it to Console Only will pair you with both PlayStation and Xbox Players). This allows for the search radius for players to be minimized. Step 7: Once both players are ready, search for King of the Hill simultaneously and attempt to find the other player.
(If you match up with another player, back out of the lobby and try searching again).
Step 8: After finding the other player, pay attention to the Maps at the Bottom of the left side of the screen. The Maps you want to look for are Fuel Depot and War Machine, as these specific maps are some of the smallest, ensuring the quickest amount of kills. Step 9: Once you get the specific map, you will want to locate the Hammer of Dawn, as this will be your main source of kills, and use this weapon for all of your kills. Step 10: In each round, the Players will take turns getting kills via the Hammer of Dawn, and aim for 300-400 Kills per Player before giving the Hammer of Dawn to the other player. Afterwards, end the round, and continue taking turns killing the bots By using this method, one single game would take around 3 Hours (depending on how far you push each round). You would have at least 1,000 - 1300 Kills, meaning that in the best-case scenario, it would take around 15-20 Hours!!! If you and another player have the resources available, then this is the most efficient and quickest method to get this trophy.
<----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
IMPORTANT TIPS FOR BOOSTING
Tip #1: Make sure every round in the mode does NOT exceed 1:30:00, as pushing one round for too long could crash the match and Reset all of your progress from that Match. It's recommended to go for slightly over an hour per round. Tip #2: For the Alternate Accounts, it's recommended to use a rubber band or a small hair band around both joysticks for the Alt Account controllers, making the joysticks face towards each other. If only one of the joysticks is being applied by the band, the game will count that controller as being inactive and remove the entire party from the game. It's crucial to have both joysticks being used. Tip #3: If you do not get the right map, simply choose which among the players needs a win on that specific map. Once decided, the player who needs the win can quickly push the objective to speed through the game and end the game. Then you would just repeat this pattern until you land on one of the maps needed for this method. You could also use this method to get trophies progress through *Around the World*, just keep in mind that some of the maps will not appear if you choose to play Blitz.

THIS! IS! a surprisingly simple trophy than what it seems on a surface level. This trophy can be completed in a private match, as the description for this trophy does not contain "social" or "competitive", making a private match the best choice. You can easily accomplish this trophy with 4 other players who are going for this trophy. While this can be completed in public lobbies, it will be fairly difficult if the enemy team is hard-camping each of the objectives. General Information can provide context and knowledge that may prove useful in improving the way you play, as well as teach a couple of play styles. To complete the trophy in a private match, follow the steps below: Step 1: Start a Private Match, choose Blitz as the game mode, and choose Raven Down as the map. Step 2: Before starting the match, edit the Rounds to Win to read '1' and set the Round Score to read '60'. Step 3: Once loaded in, have one player capture the objective and stay inside the objective, while another player also steps into the objective and quickly steps out. The other player will do this twice.
(What happens is that when Player 1 captures the point and Player 2 steps into it, they break the point. When the Player 2 steps out, Player 1 immediately captures the point again by simply standing on top of the objective.)
Step 4: At this point, Player 1 has captured the point 3 Times. They will now step out and allow Player 2 will capture the objective while Player 1 breaks it twice. (You can tell how many captures each player has by looking at the in-game scoreboard.) Step 5: Keep repeating this process until all Players have 3 Captures. Once done, push to end the game as quickly as possible, and continue to repeat this until you complete 100 Matches.

Similar to
THIS! IS! ANNEX!, this trophy can also be completed in a private match, since the trophy's description does not have the "social" or "competitive" section under other multiplayer trophies. All that's required is to play either Blitz or King of the Hill (preferably Blitz, since it's a faster version of King of the Hill), then you have to completely win without letting the other team score a single point. However, this trophy is much harder since it requires the player to win against the enemy team without letting them score a single point in any round. For example, while playing King of the Hill, if you win the round but the enemy team captures some points on the objective, that will void the trophy requirements. It is highly recommended to attempt this trophy through Private Match, but if unable to, please use the General Information to improve your gameplay and assist in attempting to aim for this trophy.

Defeat General RAAM in co-op on Insane without either player being DBNO The best method is to have Player 1 carry the Torque Bow and have Player 2 carry the Longshot. If you accidentally completed the Campaign and entered DBNO, no worries, as you can go to the Chapter Select and select the last chapter in Act V, named "Pale Horse", and you will be brought right back to the start room before you enter the Boss Fight. Both players can use the Longshot as shown in the video below; however, it's crucial to note that the Torque Bow assists in removing the Kryll Barrier from General RAAM. Additionally, items can respawn after one minute passes inside the Safe Room, and allow you to get max ammo for the Torque Bow, as it will do a lot of heavy lifting in this fight. Once in the boss fight, Both Players will hide themselves behind the barricade when you first leave the safe room. Player 1's job is to shoot General RAAM when he surrounds himself in Kryll. After the blast from the Torque Bow blows up, the Kryll will fly away, leaving General RAAM exposed, and it's Player 2's job to use the Longshot to hit headshots while his shield is down. As he slowly pushes towards both players, wait until he's fairly close to the baricade, and both Players should spam their Frag Grenades at him. If done correctly, you would have completed this Boss Fight in less than a minute with the trophy popping as the cutscene plays.

Play one Versus Match with a Custom Weapon Skin This trophy is another very easy trophy to unlock, as it requires the player to complete a match on Versus with a Custom Weapon Skin. To choose a specific weapon skin you would like to use, head to Versus and select any one of the available modes. Once you have connected to the pre-game lobby, you're given the option to change your character model and change the weapon skin on two of the weapons you spawn in with. Simply scroll down to the Weapon Category and change the camo of both weapons using ( L2 ) or ( R2 ) to select a camo of your choice. Thankfully, the game gives the player a wide selection of custom weapon skins already unlocked. Make sure to stay in the game for the entire match, as leaving early could void the trophy unlock. Once the match has finished, the trophy will shortly pop up afterwards.

Once you reach this point, E-Holes will begin to spawn from the ground. Use the Frag Grenades that you saved up to close each of the E-Holes that spawn in. The spawn locations are the same every time; however, the order in which they spawn is randomized. This trophy can be made even simpler by playing in Co-op, as you'll have two players watch two of the four possible spawns. Make sure not to throw the same grenade twice, as you'll need every grenade for this trophy. Attached below is a video that shows how they were able to get the trophy and the timing of their throws to destroy the E-Holes quickly:

Prison Breakout
Story
Complete tutorial path on any difficulty This trophy will unlock in Act 1: Ashes - Chapter: 14 Years After E-Day. For this trophy, you'll be playing as Marcus Fenix (or Dominic Santiago if playing in Co-op), who was recently released from the Jacinto Maximum Security Prison, and fight through Locust as you attempt to escape from the Prison. Once you arrive at the Prison Blocks, a horde of Locust will breach through the Metal Door. After killing them, simply walk through the breached entrance, and the trophy will pop.
