Editorial Policy

Contributions should help readers understand a game, complete a challenge or assess a gaming story. Write in your own words and add useful explanation. Lists of trophy names, copied store descriptions and empty templates are not substitutes for a finished guide. Credit quotations, research and outside material, and use images only when you have permission or another valid basis to use them.

Community guides are submitted through the guide editor and reviewed using the moderation queue. Reviewers can request changes or approve a guide for publication. Contributors should check their title, game association, platform, walkthrough and sources before submitting. Publication is not a guarantee that every detail has been independently tested; readers can report problems through Support.

Explain the steps needed to achieve the stated goal, including prerequisites, missable objectives and platform or version differences when relevant. Distinguish firsthand experience from advice drawn from other sources. Difficulty and completion time are estimates, and should not be presented as guarantees. Update instructions when a patch changes the route or requirements.

For factual reporting, cite the original announcement, developer statement or other identifiable source where available. Use the Sources fields to provide the source name and URL. Analysis interprets events; opinion presents a viewpoint. Rumors and leaks must be labeled as unconfirmed and must not be presented as established facts. Community events should be identifiable as community announcements. An unlabeled archive article should not be taken as a claim of independent verification.

Readers can email cabinsupport@gmail.com with the article or guide URL, the issue and supporting information. Authors and moderators can correct published work through the existing editing tools. For a substantive correction, explain the change in the article or guide and keep the update date accurate. Do not change the original publication date to make an old story appear new.

Do not submit plagiarized work or reproduce a press release as if it were original reporting. Keep quotations limited and attributed. Disclose sponsorships, paid relationships, review copies and other relevant interests in the contribution itself. Advertising must be distinguishable from editorial content.
