Tutorial, Melee, and Difficulty Victory Trophies
First up, the biggest trap you need to avoid is assuming the difficulty trophies stack. They don't! If you jump right into Hard and win, the game won't give you credit for Easy or Normal. You literally have to play and successfully extract from a match on all three settings individually. Queue up for a 16-player Hard match right out of the gate. The player base is usually sharp and knows how to build defenses, so just stick with the group, play safe, and let the veteran squad carry you through the toughest win first. Once that's out of the way, you can breeze through Normal and Easy.Let's dive into how to actually survive a match and keep your team from wiping, because this game will absolutely punish you if you try to play like a lone wolf.
If you use solo missions to farm any bugs you can not replay them once completed. So make sure you use restart mission and quit mission to save your place.
Squadwork & Keeping Tabs on the Swarm
You always want to move as a pack. Running off solo to grab a resource or clear an objective is a quick way to get completely gutted. While you're moving together, make sure you're constantly using your mic or the in-game marking system to ping elite threats like Tiger Elites, Plasma Grenadiers, and Gunner Bugs the second they show up. Make a habit of dropping your Ammo/ Health Fabricator depending on class often so the squad stays fed. Everyone else needs to remember to loop back to the base Ammo Stations regularly not just for bullets, but to top off your grenades and beacons too. Finally, keep a constant eye on that red Infestation meter. Once it ticks past three marks, the game flips a switch, making the bugs way tougher and turning standard objectives into an absolute bloodbath.
Playing the Economy & Preparing the Base
The biggest mistake public lobbies make is rushing the main objective. Your main goal in the early game is gathering resources to build an absolute fortress before you trigger the final showdown. Focus entirely on hoarding blue Ore canisters first this is your cash for building defenses. Whatever you do, do not rush the yellow Gas canisters. You want to stockpile anywhere from 4,000 to over 10,000 Ore to fully prep the base before anyone drops that final gas canister into the slot. When you start clearing refineries, go for the furthest ones on the map first; they are much easier to lock down early on before the Infestation level spikes. When it's time to haul the canisters back, move as a group. Carrying a canister turns you into a slow, defenseless target, so you need a convoy to escort you safely. Also, don't sleep on the optional green-icon field objectives. Clearing them usually rewards your team with Pilum Rocket Launchers, which are hands-down the best tools for melting elite bugs instantly.Once your base is fully ready with outer walls, all four Bunkers, and a solid Turret grid, then you can call out to your team and drop the final Gas canister to trigger the "ARC Slam" defense phase. When that scan finally wraps up, forget the bugs and sprint for extraction. Get all the way inside the dropship standing on the ramp does not count! Every single trooper who makes it out alive slaps a massive bonus multiplier onto your final XP payout.
The Art of Base Building
If you're focusing on building and engineering, the golden rule is to keep your base small, tight, and layered directly around the ARC. Sprawling, massive bases are impossible to defend and will collapse instantly. You want to place your Bunkers which have the highest health pools in the game right at the outer corners or main chokepoints of your perimeter. Here's the pro trick: snap your adjoining walls to the back corners of the bunker. This sets up perfect enfilade fire lanes, meaning players sitting safely inside the bunker can look out the side windows and shoot straight down the entire outside length of the exterior wall. Plus, they make perfect panic rooms if a lane gets completely overwhelmed.Make sure you place your Electric Fences and Turrets right on the frontline perimeter or outer corners to shred the swarm before they can touch your structures, rather than clustering them all inside around the ARC. At the same time, keep the center of your base completely clear. Don't clog up the middle with random internal walls; it completely ruins your team's line of sight and traps respawning players who are trying to sprint back into the fight. Your job isn't done between waves; run around repairing the ARC, dented walls, and broken turrets. If a lane isn't working out, remember you can deconstruct any fully repaired structure to get a 100% Ore refund and rebuild your grid on the fly.

The Kill/Support Grind and Early Leveling
For this phase, your main goal is just putting your head down and grinding. You want to pile up your overall Career Rank, max out your Class Levels, and passively chip away at those massive cumulative kill trackers. The secret here is ignoring the quick, objective-focused matches and diving straight into the playlists that guarantee a massive, non-stop wall of bugs. Horde Mode is your absolute best friend for this. As the game is an endless wave defense, it continuously throws an insane volume of low-level grunts at your base, which completely outpaces any other mode for raw kill counts and match XP. If you get bored of sitting in the base, your next best bet is Advance and Secure (AAS). These matches draw out into long, hard-fought turf wars over distant objectives, giving you plenty of prolonged firefights to farm experience. While you're doing this, it's recommended to main either the Ranger (Assault Trooper) or the Medic (Support Trooper) class. Teammates are going to be dropping constantly in the chaos of Horde and AAS, so running a healing role makes it incredibly easy to passively stack your general and class-specific revival trophies without having to go out of your way for them later.Pick you a Medic or Ranger, queue for Horde Mode, and just keep your finger on the trigger!
The Ultimate Grind and Citizenship
This is the absolute final stretch, and honestly, it’s a massive marathon. This stage is entirely about surviving the climb to Rank 100, dealing with the Re-enlistment system, and cleaning up your last high-number cumulative trophies. Here is how the prestige system actually treats you when you hit that cap and decide to Re-enlist:When you hit Rank 100, you’ll get the option to Re-enlist. Doing this resets your Career Rank back to 1 and drops all your Class Levels back to 1 as well. To hit Tier 3 for the final accolades, you’re looking at clearing a grand total of 300 Career Ranks across your prestige cycles. The good news is you don't lose everything. You get to keep all your cosmetics (uniforms, visors, decals), and you get a shiny new Career Badge and an extra custom loadout slot every time you prestige. Best of all, you keep your Weapon Mastery. Any attachments or perks you unlocked stay unlocked, meaning as soon as a reset class reaches a weapon's base level, you can instantly slap your fully mastered gun back on them.To keep your sanity during this massive XP grind, you want to bounce between two specific modes depending on your mood:Advance and Secure (AAS): Run this when you want quick, massive chunks of match-completion XP. If your team blitzes the objectives and extracts fast, the baseline payout is huge.Horde Mode: Run this when you just want to relax and farm raw kill XP. If your squad successfully holds the fort, the per-minute experience points from melting thousands of bugs are unmatched. No matter what class you are playing, you should always be chasing passive support points to pad your score. Never walk past a manned turret without interacting with it. Constantly reloading ammunition for a teammate on a heavy gun is a super low-risk way to milk the game for free support XP. Combine that with patching up teammates as a Medic, dropping ammo fabricators as a Ranger , and constantly hammering away at dented walls, and you'll keep a steady stream of extra points flowing into your rank tracker.

Achieve Victory on Hard difficultySecuring the trophies for Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty has two major catches you need to know before you start. First, the difficulty trophies do not stack in this game. Beating the game on Hardwon’t instantly give you credit for the lower settings, so you'll have to play and win on each individual difficulty level separately. Second, these runs must be done entirely in multiplayer mode single-player campaign wins won't help you here.To actually lock in a valid "Victory" for your tracker, your lobby needs to complete all of the main mission objectives in modes like AAS or ARC, and you have to successfully extract on the dropship at the end. If you are having a rough time surviving the higher threat levels, don't sweat it too much. Since these matches feature massive 16-player lobbies, you can easily play a safe support role, sit back a bit, and let the rest of your squad carry you to the finish line.

Get 20 melee killsKnocking out this cumulative trophy can be done with little effort because it works on either the Multiplayer or the Single-Player Campaign. Since you only need 20 total kills, you can get this done in a single match if you focus on the right targets. Skip the massive armored bugs and focus entirely on the basic Drones and Warriors, as these low-level grunts only take one or two quick swings to put down. Just make it a habit to use your melee button whenever the smaller bugs crowd around you instead of wasting ammo, and you’ll watch the trophy pop in minutes.

Revive 100 fallen TroopersGetting 100 revives is going to take some time, so you'll want to start leveling up your Medic class immediately. To speed this up, make sure you are taking full advantage of the Medic’s absolute best tool: the Medical Drone. When you activate your utility ability, this little bot will automatically patch up any downed allies standing inside its radius. The best part about the tracker is that it counts every single revival method available to you. Whether you're letting your drone do the work, burning a self-revive on yourself, using unlocked Syringes for instant close-range pick-ups, or sniping downed teammates from across the map with the Healing Dart, it all adds to your career total. If you want to knock this out as quickly as possible, park yourself in Horde Mode lobbies. The endless waves mean public teams are constantly getting knocked down, making it incredibly easy to walk away from a single match with 15 or more revives checked off your list.

Achieve Career Rank 100Hitting Rank 100 is a serious time sink, and you definitely don't want to glitch it. To ensure your trophy unlocks safely: finish the match that pushes you to Rank 100, play one extra full multiplayer match at max rank, and then select Re-enlist. Do not level up in single-player and prestige immediately, or the tracker might break! To power through the levels fast: hunt Special Bugs (Tigers, Grenadiers, Bombardiers) for bonus kill points, maximize your downtime by building and repairing base walls, and play on Normal/Hard difficulty for better objective payouts. Most importantly, always make it onto the extraction dropship for that massive final XP bonus, and schedule your heavy grind sessions around the official Double XP Weekends advertised on their Discord and X channels!

Kill 30 Grenadier BugsThe Grenadier Bug is a large, bulky Arachnid easily identified by the distinctive glowing blue/green plasma it lobs high into the air. They are a long-range threat that tends to hang back from the main swarm. The required 30 cumulative kills will come relatively quickly by prioritizing these targets in every mission.Play on Normal or Hard difficulty. Grenadier Bugs are considered special/elite Bugs and spawn much more frequently as the Infestation Level increases in harder missions. They appear often in all mission types (AAS, ARC, and Horde) during the defense phase, especially on the maps Agni Prime and Klendathu.Always mark and focus the Grenadier Bug. They are worth a large amount of XP and pose a massive threat to your base defenses. Use high-damage tools like the Rocket Launcher (found from side objectives) or the Demolisher's explosives. The Grenadier Bug usually has a clear weak spot on its abdomen or head. You do not need the final blow. As long as you contribute damage to the Bug, you will get credit for the kill towards the cumulative trophy.

Kill 2297 Warrior BugsThe Warrior Bug is the standard, aggressive, four-legged grunt of the swarm. Kill 50 Royal Guard BugsThe Royal Guard Bug is basically a giant, heavily armored version of a Tiger Bug that functions as an elite bodyguard. You'll almost always find them guarding Hive Cores or popping up to ruin your day during high-intensity mission waves.
If you're trying to farm them online, your most reliable destination is the Hive Hunt mode (or any ARC mission with Hive objectives). Because their sole purpose is protecting the Hive Core and its eggs, you are guaranteed to trigger a couple of spawns when you aggressively push deep into the tunnels to destroy the objective. Just make sure someone on your team is running Demolisher or Sniper gear to crack through their heavy armor and halt their brutal charge attacks. Alternatively, they do occasionally show up during late game Horde Mode waves or final ARC defenses just keep your ears open for your trooper's unique voice callout so you can sprint over and tag it before your teammates take the kill.Want to skip the multiplayer grind entirely? You can solo-farm this easily. Load up Story Mission 21, play until the Royal Guard spawns, kill it, and then immediately pause and restart the mission. This is highly recommended because the online kill tracker can sometimes glitch out and stop counting your progress; running the story checkpoint completely bypasses the bug and guarantees a smooth unlock.

Get 200 kills with any grenade typeTo maximize your kill count as fast as possible, you’ll want to take full advantage of the Demolisher’s unique crowd-control gear and massive explosive inventory. Before you jump into a match, make sure you've leveled up enough to equip Lure Grenades, as they are completely central to making this strategy work. This method is an absolute blast to run during defensive holdouts on ARC or AAS missions when the bugs are forced down specific lanes. Start by chucking a Lure Grenade right into a heavy spawn wave or a major choke point. The lure will trick a massive crowd of Drones and Warriors into stacking tightly on top of each other. The second they are clumped up, drop the hammer by using your Grenade Barrage ability. If that's on cooldown, standard Frag or Napalm grenades will do the trick, but the barrage is your best bet for wiping out dozens of targets at once. Once the smoke clears, drop your Fabricator to replenish your grenade stock and run it back. To really break the game, set up your Fabricator right next to an Engineer's Ammo Crate so you can endlessly resupply your gear and ammunition without missing a beat.

Reach Level 15 in any Trooper ClassChoosing Your Class for the Level 15 SprintWhen it comes to hitting Level 15 quickly, you want to pick a class that spends less time staring at a respawn screen and more time actively earning points. The Guardian and the Medic are the absolute best choices for this.If you like holding the front line, the Guardian is an absolute tank and the easiest class to survive with. It packs extreme armor values that let you shrug off hits, plus unlocks special perks that literally cut incoming bug damage in half. Combine that with a passive health-regeneration perk for when you step out of combat, and your downtime drops to basically zero. Just set up at a major choke point, draw all the bug aggro, and blast away at high-tier enemies to rake in massive combat XP.On the other hand, if you want to farm points through sheer utility, the Medic is an absolute goldmine for Support XP. Between a self-revive ability that saves you during chaotic wipes and quick-healing stims that get you out of tight spots, your personal survival is completely covered. From there, your main goal is to constantly patch up your squad and pull off clutch revives. The game awards massive amounts of XP for keeping your team alive, making the Medic one of the fastest, safest tickets to Level 15.

Note that you must shoot and kill the bug before it blows itself up if you want the kill to actually register on your trophy tracker.

Bombardier Bug Farming Strategy (Single Player)If you want to get this trophy out of the way quickly without dealing with the chaos of public multiplayer, you can easily farm it solo. Load up Story Mission 12, "Boreas Mission #1," and fight your way through the first two waves of Warrior Bugs.Eventually, you'll walk into a massive, open cavern where a group of AI Gunners will drop into a line near a tunnel mouth. This is your cue to get into position. Back up as far as possible to give yourself a clean line of sight, and aim your weapon right at the ground by the tunnel entrance. Keep your ears open for a sharp, high-pitched screech and listen to your AI squad's callouts these will give you an early warning the second the bugs appear. For the absolute best results, run the Sniper Class equipped with the High-Visibility Visor perk so the targets glow vividly in the dark. The moment you clear the Bombardier wave, simply restart the mission from your menu and run it back.Bombardier Bug kills are cumulative across all online matches. To find them efficiently in multiplayer, queue into Arc Fleet missions on Agni Prime (Normal difficulty or higher), and skip Horde Mode since they rarely spawn there. During defense phases, look out for them digging out of the terrain unexpectedly, and listen closely for their distinctive, high-pitched scurrying sound to avoid getting caught in a surprise blast.
