Core Mechanics
This psychological horror-puzzle game tests your observation skills and patience. Your main task is simple on paper but nerve-wracking in practice: inspect cabins, differentiate between creepy atmosphere and active anomalies, and survive an 8-cabin streak to clock out. You only have two things you can do in this game
to run and
on the DANGER or CLEAR button Before diving into the individual trophies, mastering the fundamental rules of the factory is essential to avoiding progress resets. The Golden Rule: Movement vs. Static DANGER (Anomaly) An anomaly is strictly defined by movement or change after you enter the cabin. If a doll rocks, a cup slides, a head turns, or an object shifts even subtly press DANGER. Dying to an anomaly resets your current workday streak to zero. CLEAR (Normal) If an element is incredibly disturbing but completely static (unmoving) when you enter, it is not an anomaly. A twisted portrait, a newly spawned mannequin, or a door resting wide open counts as a safe cabin unless it actively moves while you are inside. Thoroughly check every corner, and if nothing moves, press CLEAR. For the four "Face your past" trophies, you will encounter specific static figures. Instead of treating them like standard rooms, your goal is to locate them and stare at them until a special event triggers. Once the event concludes, press CLEAR, as these narrative encounters do not count as dangerous anomalies.
Post-Game Cleanup & "Employee of the Month"
Once the credits wrap, you'll find yourself back at the starting elevator. This is where the real completion grind begins. Tracking Your Remaining Anomalies Look at the mirror in the elevator or the sticky note stuck to the control stand. You’ll see a counter like "(6 left)". This tracks the exact number of unique, undiscovered environmental anomalies left in your game pool. Every time you successfully flag a new anomaly, this counter permanently ticks down. To finish off the list, you have two options: Strategy A: The "Danger Button" Spam (Fast but Risky) Because the counter drops whenever a new anomaly spawns and you flag it, you can technically just stand at the control stand and repeatedly mash the DANGER button without looking. If the game rolls a brand-new anomaly, hitting Danger instantly counts it. If it rolls a normal room or a duplicate, you'll die and reset your streak, but your overall checklist progress stays saved. It’s an incredibly fast way to burn through the last few generic background shifts. This is entirely at the mercy of RNG. Strategy B: Active Hunting (Highly Recommended) 🛑 Crucial Warning: If you are still missing any of the "Face Your Past" story trophies, do not use the spam method. The story-related character spawns have a much lower probability of appearing. If you blindly spam the Danger button, you risk instantly overwriting or skipping past a rare character spawn you actually need, forcing you to cycle through hundreds of random rooms just to see them again. The Most Efficient Path to 100% Play properly until you have locked down Father, Mother, Greta, and Hans. Once your remaining counter only consists of minor environmental shifts, park yourself at the console and use the Danger Spam method to quickly clear out the rest of the pool. If you're struggling to notice what's changing to drop your counter, just keep grinding standard runs for Employee of the Month. The sheer repetition will naturally train your eyes to notice even the tiniest shifts in the baseline cabin layout.

Finish the work day
Story
Complete the main story You must correctly classify 8 Cabins in a row (using either 'CLEAR' or 'DANGER' as appropriate) without making a mistake to finish the shift and the game. See
Employee of the Month if you are struggling to identify anomalies.
Boo!
Find the optional Jumpscare
Enable Jumpscares in the Options menu. Simply go into the settings/options and toggle the "Jumpscares" setting ON. This in itself triggers a jumpscare.
Employee of the Month
Complete all cabins
To keep things simple, we’ll be using standard family roles for the roster: the young girl is The Daughter, the boy is The Son, the dad is The Father, and the mom is The Mother. Check out the complete checklist below for every single haunted anomaly you need to watch out for! The Master Anomaly Checklist [ ] 1. The Son can be found upstairs actively moving his legs. 📌 Note: This will always be the very first haunted anomaly to trigger on any given run. [ ] 2. 🚨 DANGER - A small cabin model sits near the entrance door. The miniature figures represent invisible family spirits that are attempting to breach the room. Survival Strategy: Immediately move to and stand on the far side of the model table. Watch the figures closely; wait until the moving figure (The Father) completely clears the doorway as they move toward the model. The exact moment he passes, make a mad dash for the exit. Do not linger prolonged contact with these spirits results in an instant game over. 📌 Note: This will always be the second haunted anomaly to trigger on your run. [ ] 3. The cellar door is left slightly ajar. When you head upstairs, you will clearly hear The Daughter singing from somewhere in the house. The moment you walk back downstairs, you'll catch her aggressively slamming the cellar door shut from the inside. [ ] 4. 🚨 DANGER - When you head downstairs, The Daughter actively blocks your primary exit path. Survival Strategy: Turn around immediately, head down into the cellar, and duck into the bathroom. Wait inside until the bathroom door finally clicks open. The moment it does, sprint back upstairs, dodge The Mother completely, and fly out the front door. 📌 Note: This is guaranteed to be one of the first few anomalies you encounter in a run. [ ] 5. If you look closely beneath the bed, you will spot The Daughter's hand poking out from under the frame and shifting around. [ ] 6. The cabin suddenly fills up with soft plush toys. If you head upstairs and then make your way back down, you'll find they have completely moved positions with a few of them actively peeking around corners at you. [ ] 7. The Father is sitting flat at the table, originally staring straight ahead. However, the second you come downstairs, his head snaps to lock eyes with you, and his gaze dynamically tracks your movement around the room. [ ] 8. 🚨 DANGER - When you make your way downstairs, The Mother is standing completely still directly in front of the family painting, which has gone entirely blank. Survival Strategy: You only have a tight window of a few seconds when you get close before she aggressively snaps into motion. Move fast and rush straight out the front door before she can bridge the gap and reach you. [ ] 9. Keep an eye on the main table; the mug left resting on top will slowly begin to slide across the surface on its own. [ ] 10. 🚨 DANGER - Look out the back; you will spot The Father outside, actively pacing past the rear window of the cabin. Survival Strategy: The moment you see him, drop everything and run out through the main door. Take the stairs located immediately to the right of the elevator, loop around, and exit out through the outer cabin door to safety. [ ] 11. 🚨 DANGER - You'll find The Son's bright orange blanket discarded on the stairs, and as you reach the bottom, you'll see him rocking back and forth in the rocking chair. Survival Strategy: He won't get up to chase you, but his proximity damage is incredibly high. Give the chair a massive berth; getting too close will instantly drain your health bar and kill you. [ ] 12. 🚨 DANGER - As you head downstairs, a distinct, eerie giggling echoes through the cabin, and the cellar door is sitting wide open. Survival Strategy: The Daughter is about to violently burst out to ambush you. Don't hesitate or look back—immediately sprint straight out the front door before she can lock onto you. [ ] 13. You catch a brief, unsettling glimpse of a body (one of the children) being roughly dragged away into the shadows by an unseen force. [ ] 14. The Mother begins watching you directly from inside the main painting. The effect makes it look like she is standing in a physical, lit room tucked right behind the wooden frame, and her eyes will track your every step. [ ] 15. 🚨 DANGER - The entire upstairs environment abruptly flashes a bright orange hue. As you make your way downstairs, you will see that the cabin is fully engulfed in a raging fire. Survival Strategy: While no physical entities are hunting you during this event, the environment itself is completely lethal. Navigate the layout carefully so you don't accidentally blunder into the open flames, rush out the door, cross the outer field, and escape through the secondary door. [ ] 16. If you look toward the right-hand corner of the room, you will spot a creepy doppelgänger (an exact copy of your character) staring back at you from behind the wooden support beam. 📌 Tip: On our first few runs, you had to physically stand directly in the corner to get the game to trigger and log this anomaly, but a recent update seems to have fixed that requirement. To be absolutely safe and guarantee you don't miss it, we still highly recommend standing right in the corner, Blair Witch style, for a moment. [ ] 17. A second doppelgänger manifestation can be found standing perfectly still to the right-hand side of the main table, silently watching your every move. [ ] 18. The moment you attempt to walk past The Father’s table, his spirit will aggressively snap and violently hurl all the pots directly at you. Give the table a bit of space to avoid the sudden outburst. [ ] 19. If you head upstairs and maintain direct line of sight with the toy frog, it will slowly and unsettlingly expand in size the longer you look at it. [ ] 20. 🚨 DANGER - A telephone will begin loudly ringing upstairs. Survival Strategy: If you choose to answer it, The Father will briefly manifest at the bottom of the stairs before vanishing. Immediately after, both he and The Mother will begin aggressively blinking in and out of existence all around the cabin layout. Keep your distance, watch your corners, and find a fast exit path. 💡 The Pro Shortcut: You can completely "nope out" of this entire chaotic sequence by ignoring the phone altogether and slapping the red button the exact second you hear the first ring. [ ] 21. 🚨 DANGER - A secondary cabin model spawns upstairs, requiring a perfectly timed movement sequence to dodge the pathing of the moving spirits. Survival Strategy: Hold your position upstairs and watch the model closely. Wait until The Son's miniature figure reaches the absolute top of the model stairs. The split-second he hits that mark, jump down the physical stairs and sprint directly to the rocking chair. Wait there quietly until you hear The Father's heavy footsteps begin to fade out, then make a mad dash for the exit door. 📌 Note: This is hard-coded to always spawn as one of the later anomalies in a run. [ ] 22. The TV remote control can be found levitating entirely on its own in mid-air, floating right near the toy frog upstairs. [ ] 23. When you head downstairs, you will notice The Mother has completely vanished from her family portrait frame. As you open the door to exit the cabin, you'll spot her standing completely motionless outside in the dark. [ ] 24. You will find The Son on his knees, staring blankly into the television set. If you look closely at the glass, his face reflected in the TV screen will unnaturally twist around to lock eyes with you with a massive, disturbing smile. [ ] 25. The Father is already seated at the main table and will snap his head to stare at you the absolute microsecond you enter the cabin layout, completely bypassing the normal trigger rule of waiting for you to walk downstairs. His eyes will dynamically track you from the moment you step inside. [ ] 26. You will spot The Father standing completely still outside the cabin, staring in through the glass pane. The absolute second you step close to investigate the window, it will violently shatter inward.
