Here we go, its the lean, green, ninja team. On the Scene, cool, teens doin' ninja things. So extreme, out the sewer, like laser beams. Get rocked with the shell-shocked pizza kings. They're the world's most fearsome fighting teens (Teenage mutant ninja turtles). They'e heroes in a half shell, and they're green (Teenage mutant ninja turtles). When the evil Shredder attacks, these turtle boys, they cut him no slack.Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Heroes in a half shell TURTLE POWER!The Cowabunga Collection is a collection of the classic arcade TMNT games. The controls for each arcade game differ based on chosen game but can be found within each game. The controls this guide is focused on are the ones that correlate with the cheese methods.There is a rewind function that can be used when hitting
. This will rewind up to 10 seconds.
brings up the Options/Pause Menu, which allows for saving and loading games.There is also a Watch Mode where the game plays itself. To access watch mode, press
. Once In watch mode, it can be paused by hitting
, rewound by hitting
and fast-forwarded by hitting
. While in watch mode, hit
to take control and jump back into playing the level. This mode will be the main focus of the next section and will be crucial to obtaining a majority of the trophies for this game.
The 'Watch Mode' Method
This method will obtain 11 of the 13 trophies quick and easy, and will be noted in the trophy descriptions as to which method to refer to to obtain which trophy. As discussed above, To access watch mode, press
. Once In watch mode, it can be paused by hitting
, rewound by hitting
and fast-forwarded by hitting
. While in watch mode, hit
to exit watch mode.Method: go into watch mode and use it until just before the end of the game. Once at almost the end of the game, stop/pause the watch method and create a save at that point. Once the save is made, exit out of the game, load it back up with that save and complete the game to pop is respective trophy.The itemized steps are as follows:

to fast forward through the video until near the end of the game (watch the final boss's health bar as a reference, once its nearly gone is when to stop watch mode)
Once the best/preferred moment is found as mentioned in step 3, press

S & G Tournament Champion Methods
These are the longer, and can be more difficult, trophies due to the watch method not working for these. However, these trophies also have their own cheese methods/tricks to make them easier.S Tournament Champion:Tips & Tricks:
On the Title Screen of the game, with a 2nd controller, input the code -
and listen out for the explosion sound. One the explosion sound is confirmed, go into the in-game options and select 10 credits/lives.
Speed up the completion of the game by adjusting the 'Game Time' to 30 seconds on the in-game menu. (Make sure that the opponent has less health than the player when the time expires)
While any character can be used to complete the game corresponding with this trophy, the character preferred for this trophy/game mode is Donatello due to his Fierce Punch attack (
).
The final battle, Karai, will be the be hard and require lots of use of the Rewind function previously mentioned. Once Karai is defeated, the trophy for S Tournament Champion will pop.
G Tournament Champion:This trophy has a 2nd controller cheese method to make the fights up to the final boss easier. The steps for that cheese method are as follows.
Select the correlating TMNT: Tournament Fighters as show in the
G Tournament Champion trophy description with 2 controllers.
Turn on Playable Bosses by hitting
and going to enhancements.
While still in the menu after hitting
, go to options, change the level setting to 8, change the round to 1, then exit the menu.
Choose Karai and set speed and power to 8. (Karai makes fighting end boss Karai easier)
Once controller 1 is set, hit
on the 2nd controller and choose a character. (all characters will need to be defeated, so be sure to keep track of which have been and have not been during the process)
Defeat the 2nd controller's character, then repeat for the other 7 characters.
At the first boss battle, Triceraton, hit
on controller 2, select Triceraton, then beat the brakes off them
Repeat the same process with Krang.
Karai is the final boss. Make sure to use the rewind function as needed (
). Once Karai is defeated, the trophy for G Tournament Champion will pop.
